Hi Tawana, I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your book, Unarmed But Dangerous. I took the book with me while in Montreal, and there I had the opportunity to read it throughout its entirety. My thoughts after reading it are as follows: “What motivation and inspiration birthed through struggle, strength, and survival. Tawana Williams’ story is a true testament of the power of God and how HE strategically equips us with everything we need for our success and survival. “UNarmed But Dangerous” has the makings of an Academy Award-Winning movie. “Powerfully Riveting!” J.R.
Hi Tawana, Hope you are all doing well. I read your book the same night. I started reading and couldn’t put it down. Hope you start on another one soon and have a whole lot more pages. Your book was an inspiration to me and my family. I’ve tried to call you on a couple of occasion but I know how busy you are. May God continue to bless you and your family.
Tawana, I just wanted you to know that you really inspired our hearts when you came to Greater Wynns Grove Baptist Church. You touched my family’s heart even my 17 year old son (you stepped all on his toes!) Please stay encouraged and we will continue praying for you and your family. Your spiritual family,
Hello Mrs. Williams, I attend West Bladen High School you came to our School February 1, 2006 and I really enjoyed the stuff you told us I was one of those students that always said that I cant do stuff. Thank you.
Dear Ms. Tawana, I purchased your book. That night I begin to read and did not put it down until I finished it the same night. It was such an inspiration and encouragement. I am 24yrs. old and the book showed me that even though life sometimes can be challenging, you can make it. God will never put too much on you than you can bear. So to you I say thank-you. Thank you for allowing God to use you to inspire people, for being so bold with your testimony and for writing the book. You have really showed many that all things are possible. You are truly blessed and favored of the Lord. Continue with your journey and telling your testimony. Love, C.A.
Ms. Tawana Just wanted to say I saw you on Judge Hatchett and I was so moved by your story and especially how you reached out to T-T. I believe that you made an impact on her life. I too was addicted to crack for about 10 years and God instantly delivered me also. I’ve been delivered from it for 8 years and I give all praise and honor to him. I am involved in children’s ministry and I believe if they meet Jesus at an early age that maybe they won’t go down the wrong path but if they do they’ll recognize the Holy Spirit convicting them. I pray that God will continue to use you so that others can see Philippians 4:13 in there lives also. Have A Happy 2006 for you and your family. Love
Ms. Tawana, I just wanted to let you know that you are an awesome inspiration and I can tell you have a great “old” soul; it was a great pleasure to speak with you. I will stay in touch! T.H. “In The News”
Tawana Williams, I viewed Judge Hatchett last week here in Philadelphia. I was so inspired by your testimony. I plan to order your book. I certainly intend to be supportive of your ministry. Thanks,
Ms. Williams, I just wanted you to know that you are proof that there is a GOD. You are truly an inspiration. People today have no ideal how hard life can be. 98% of Americans would not know how to deal with what you have taken and turned into a blessing. I personally want to say thank you for being you and teaching me not to sweat the small things. GOD Bless You,
Tawana, I recently watched you on Judge Hatchett. I was really inspired by your uplifting spirit even when you don’t have what we take for granted. That’s one way to look at it but what really inspired me is your belief in God. I had self-esteem issues growing up and I also turned to negativity. I’m 27 now and it took only a view of a piece of my life to make me realize that we have to work with what we have. I was determined to get this message to you and thank you so much for your appearance.
Tawana, I simply wanted to check in to say that you are truly an inspiration. I stopped watching TV in the morning because it distracts me from my reading and meditation time. This morning I caught your appearance on Judge Hatchett and I was overjoyed with your spirit. I too am a recovering addict and a devoted Christian. Very few of my coworkers and friends can relate to the joy I have in my heart about life and Christ. I don’t care that I stand alone; I know that I am right. I plan to keep in touch and hope to meet you some day. God Bless and Hang in there Baby. You Go Girl!
Ms. Williams, I saw Judge Hatchett this morning and was deeply touched by your experience and your doing the work of our LORD. You have the gift and I know that it was not easily attained. I am certain you had to go through disappointment, hurt and tears as our LORD prepared you for your perfect mission. I truly love you and will be praying for you and the family from this day on.
Tawana, You were off of the hook on the Judge Hatchet show! You are a real blessing!
Tawana, I just wanted to let you know that I saw you on the Judge Hatchett Show today; you were truly a blessing and a testimony. I saw that love of God just radiating all over you. You are a true testament, that with CHRIST all things are possible. I know that you have helped change and put that young lady’s life back on the right road. I want you to stay encouraged and keep on doing what you are doing. May God’s richest and best blessings be upon you.
awana Williams, Just a note to say I was sitting around the house feeling sorry for myself when I saw you on Judge Hatchett… all of a sudden I put away the pity party hats and horns and said “you ought to be ashamed of yourself.” Thank you Tawana for all you have done to show the world all things are possible through Christ who strengthens me…
Mrs. Williams, Thank you so much for sharing your story. I just saw your appearance on Judge Hatchett. What a blessing you are to the young lady featured in the show. You have inspired me to put aside my insecurities and to use what God has given me to make a difference in the world. Thank you again for being so courageous and wonderful.
Tawana, I just want to say that you truly are Heaven sent. I saw you on Judge Hatchett this morning and you touched my heart. You are an inspiring individual and I love you for being you and overcoming the odds. I know it is hard living without arms but you have what a lot of people don’t and that’s a big, caring, sharing heart. May God bless you and keep you safe in his arms.
Hi Tawana, I met you Sunday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. I think that you are a really great person and what you do is so amazing. If I didn’t have arms I wouldn’t know what I would do. I use my hands for everything. You have a better handwriting than me and you use your feet. Well if I ever have anything that I need some advice for I will gladly e-mail you or call you and let you know. Love,
Tawana, In a world filled with frustration and turmoil, you are a brilliant and needed ray of promise and hope. Keep up the good and necessary work. Thanks,
Hello Tawana, I was greatly moved by the intervention you did with the youth on The Judge Hatchett Courtroom Series. Truly, you helped the teenager discover that she could realize her greatest abilities; her biggest dreams. Your appearance on The Judge Hatchett Courtroom Series was a catalytic event that will bring new meaning to, “I can.” May God continue to pour out His blessings to you and yours.” Sincerely,
Ms. Tawana, Just saw you on Judge Hatchett, you were awesome, wish you had been around when I was growing up. I commend you and praise you for your achievements. God Be With you and your family,
Ms. Williams, God is so GOOD! I saw you on Judge Hatchett today and as tears streamed down my face, I was amazed by your courage, determination and God given ability to do it all. So many young and old can learn a lot from your strength. I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for just being you. Keep doing what you’re doing. May God continue to bless you!!!
Ms. Williams, I just finished watching you on Judge Hatchett’s show. WOW!! God bless you, you are such an inspiration to me. I am amazed at your strength. May God continue to strengthen you and make your voice heard. I pray Gods abundant blessing over your life. God Bless You!
Dear Mrs. Williams: I just saw you on Judge Hatchett’s show and I cried at your ability to be such an inspiration to everyone, young and old. I am 60 years old and was so touched with your giving & loving spirit. I could feel your sensitivity when you spoke. I wish I could give you a hug because you deserve so much more. Please keep on helping people. You are an angel from God and you are doing what He would have you to do in this life. Your reward will be in Heaven. God bless you and your dedicated work. There are some people who are with you in spirit and I am one of those people. I will always remember you for even without arms you are able to wrap yourself around people in your own way. Indeed you did touch me. You are my sister in Christ and I love you. Thank you and many future success stories for you helping others.
Tawana, I saw your show on Judge Hatchett and thought you were a very inspirational person sometimes I feel that things are difficult for me but now I won’t complain. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you keep being a motivational and positive person for many around you!!
Ms. Williams, I just wanted to stop by and say I am really inspired and you are an inspiration to me. I was watching Judge Hatchett and you were on the show and it really touched my heart. I am a 29-year-old quadriplegic I was not born this way. And I often find it hard to deal with. But every time I get down, something or someone always come across that makes me thankful for just being alive. I think it is amazing the things that you do for yourself.
Tawana, I saw you on Judge Hatchet. I had to cry. You are a blessing from God. I teach Middle School and I see the kids going through because of peer pressure. All pre-teens need to meet you. I thank you for not hiding in a closet. Thank you for not sinking into despair and self pity. Our children need you. I wish I knew about you when I was growing up. I had low self esteem because I am six feet tall. I thought I was cursed. Back then, I am 38 now, being tall was not the thing to be for girls. Thank you Mrs. Williams for allowing the world to come into your space. I pray that God continues to give you the desires of your heart. God bless you!
“Meeting Tawana who was born without arms and hearing her stories of overcoming adversities caused me to re-define hardship. For Tawana the word Impossibility is just an opinion. Her books and CD’s are life changing and if you ever get the opportunity to hear her Live in person and meet her, YOUR life will never be the same!”
Tawana, I saw you on The Judge Hatchett Show and you are the most inspirational person I’ve ever seen. May Jesus keep you always in the loving spirit that you are? You have helped me to see my life is not as bad as I thought it was. Keep up with the Lord as I will keep you in my memories forever. Love through Jesus!
